Concordia University Wireless Configuration for the iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch
Configuration
Note: The protocol used to secure Concordia’s wireless network is not supported on early versions of the iPhone Operating System. Updating your iPhone OS to the latest version is encouraged. For further information, please visit the Apple website.
- To connect to the Concordia University Wireless network on your iPhone, open the “Settings” application from your home screen.

- Under “Settings”, open the “Wi-Fi” menu.

- In the “Wi-Fi” menu, assure that Wi-Fi (wireless networking) is turned on, then select the “ConcordiaUniversity” network.
- You will be asked for your Concordia Netname and Password.

- After correctly entering your Netname and Password, you will be prompted to accept an SSG certificate from cumulus.concordia.ca.

- Once the certificate is accepted, you will be brought back to the “Wi-Fi Networks” screen.

- The ConcordiaUniversity network should now have a check next to it.
- Touch the
button on the same row to move into the settings screen to verify your settings. - In the Wi-Fi Networks Settings screen, verify that the DHCP button is active and that the HTTP proxy is set to off.
- All other settings should appear automatically since they are assigned by DHCP. The settings in the images below are current as of August 2010.

- In order to verify your connectivity, hit the home button, launch Safari or another web browser of your choice, and open a web page (i.e., www.concordia.ca).
